You may have covered this in other posts, but I haven't come across it. House? Condo? Apartment? Have you got it fixed up the way you like it? Do you have a hard time convincing your friends to come over? I live so far west now that any time I want to socialize with my friends I have to be the one doing the driving.<BR/><BR/>I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the risks of being patronizing --- how you resolve your position of relative stability in a neighborhood with people like Priscilla. Is it tough to figure out the boundary between wanting to be a good neighbor / friend and trying to modify someone's behavior to your standards? I feel like you did the right thing by offering Priscilla the crack pipe back. It would have put you in a tricky moral spot if you had found it and thrown it away.
